This Privacy Policy applies to apps, games, websites, and related services published by Simon Skinner unless a specific product has its own separate policy.
Summary
Many of my apps are designed to work without collecting personal data. Where an app does not ask you to create an account, does not include analytics, and does not connect to a server operated by me, I do not receive personal information from your use of that app.
Information an app may collect
Depending on the app, information may be stored locally on your device. This can include settings, progress, scores, preferences, or other data needed for the app to work. Local data stays on your device unless the app clearly offers a feature that sends it elsewhere.
Some apps may use platform services such as Apple Game Center, iCloud, TestFlight, Google Play Games, crash reporting, or store purchases. Those services are provided by Apple or Google and are governed by their respective privacy policies and account settings.
Analytics and diagnostics
I do not add third-party advertising trackers to my apps by default. If an app uses analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, or similar tooling, its App Store or Google Play privacy information will describe the relevant data use.
Website analytics and privacy choices
This website uses Google Analytics only after you choose to allow analytics through the Privacy choices control. Until then, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded and no website analytics data is sent to Google.
If you allow analytics, I use it to understand page views, broad campaign sources, scroll depth, and interactions such as links, buttons, and mobile store download actions. Campaign reporting is limited to approved utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and utm_content values. I do not intentionally send arbitrary query strings, form content, email addresses, or telephone numbers as analytics event data.
Google may process browser, device, and network information and may set first-party analytics cookies when you consent. Advertising signals and personalisation are disabled. Read the Google Privacy Policy for information about Google's processing.
Your choice is stored in local storage so the site can remember it. You can reopen Privacy choices at any time. Choosing essential only stops Google Analytics from loading on future page views and removes the first-party Google Analytics cookies available to this site. The legal basis for optional website analytics is your consent.
Children's privacy
My apps are not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of my apps, contact me and I will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Data sharing
I do not sell personal data. I may share information only where needed to operate a service, comply with the law, protect rights and security, or use platform services requested by the user.
Data retention
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, or uninstall the app. If a future app stores account or server-side data, that app will explain how that data can be accessed or deleted.
Website analytics data is subject to the retention controls configured for the Google Analytics property and is kept only while it remains useful for understanding and improving the site. Your analytics choice remains in your browser until you change it, clear the site's stored data, or use a different browser or device.
Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy when apps change, new services are added, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
